She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Carl Hooyer and Georgette Hooyer (Van Daele) of Tillsonburg; her daughter Carla Cote of London, Ontario; and her siblings, Dan Hooyer of Tillsonburg, Wendy Chilcott (Bob) of Corinth, Debbie Anderson (Bill Scott) of Tillsonburg and Cindy (Mark Elliott) of Tillsonburg. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Due to covid-19 attendance-related restrictions, this event will be by invitation only at this time.

Memorial donations in Kim's memory would be gratefully acknowledged by the Hooyer family and are payable to the "St. Mary's Church – Building Fund," through the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes- Burial and Cremation Services Inc., Tillsonburg (519-842-4238), entrusted with all funeral arrangements, with confidence.
