She was predeceased by: her spouse Eugeen Vanhaelewyn; her parents, Camiel Messine and Martha Messine (Gryspeerdt); and her sister Jeanne Messine. She is survived by: her children, Anita Vallaeys (Freddy) of Tillsonburg and Geno Vanhaelewyn (Sherri) of Tillsonburg; her grandchildren, Brian Vallaeys (Cindy) of Straffordville, Shawn Vallaeys (Jessica) of Tillsonburg, Brooklynn Vanhaelewyn of Tillsonburg and Ajay Vanhaelewyn of Tillsonburg; and her great grandchildren, Mason and Avah Vallaeys.
