She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Russell Empey; her parents, Alfred H. Kunkel and Mary M. Kunkel (Cichocka); her siblings, Alf and Joy; and her parents-in-law, Helen, Harry, Luella, Howard, Norma, Melvin, Dorothy, Shirley and Keith.
She is survived by: her children, Ken (Eva), Mary (Randy VanDaele), Karl (Joyce) and Ted (Connie); her grandchildren, Shasta, Ayla, Sierra, Levi and Kennedy; her great grandchildren, Zaiven, Avery, Roy and Lyla; her siblings, Bob, Jim, Shirley and Mary Jane; and her parents-in-law, Jack, Jean and Don.
