She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Winegardner; her former husband Norman Winegardner; and her siblings, Iona Vyse, Iola Heffren, Anne Davis, Harley and Burton Vyse.

She is survived by: her children, Robin Thompson (Donald) of Alberta, Marilyn Sawden (Charles) of Chatham and Nick Winegardner (Patti Shelly) of Embro; her stepdaughters, Linda McCarty (David) of London and Barbara Philbrook (Ken) of St. Marys; and her grandchildren, Tammy, Mark, Todd, April, Trevor, Colin and Karlee. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
