Neil Peters Obituary

Of Straffordville passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Saturday, March 17, 2018. He was 61. Beloved husband of Virginia (Mayo) Peters. Dear father of Victoria Saris (Steven) of Straffordville and Robert Peters of Aylmer. Loving grandfather of Sadie, Brooke and Sophie.

Brother of Anne Sawatzky (late Peter), Jacob (Brenda), Margaret Dyck (David), Tina Klassen (Peter), Abe (Margaret), David (Joanne), Henry (Mary), Helen Klassen (Jake), Mary Froese (John) and Jessie Dyck (John). Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Tillsonburg on January 21, 1957, son of the late David and Katharina (Wiebe) Peters.

He was a transport driver and worked at Imperial Tobacco for 23 years. Neil's greatest joy was spending time with his family. He spent many weekends at the Port Bruce Trailer Park and enjoyed collecting beach glass. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 11:00 am.

Interment, Straffordville Cemetery. Donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated.
