He was predeceased by: his sister Kathy Lester (Kathleen); and his parents, Helen Beverage Collins and Patrick Michael Collins Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Diane Hennessey; his children, Heather, Chris, Mike and Jenn; his grandchildren, Kendra, Alex, Ben and Tori; his sister Nikki; and his brother-in-law Jerry Cattrysse.
Following Pat's diagnosis of uncurable cancer in December of 2020 Pat and family banned together, despite a pandemic, tighter and stronger together, preparing one another for the loss of a truly remarkable brother, husband, father, and grandfather.
