He is survived by: his spouse Simone (Depaepe); his children, Daniel Groeneveld (Valerie Smith), Peggy Adlington (Jon), Paul Groeneveld (Carol), Wendy Belaen (Gary), Jon Adlington Jr. (Kaitlyn Masse), Alisha Doan (Fraser), Stephen Adlington (Sarah Taylor), Kyle Belaen (Megan), Chelsea Durham (Philip), Joshua Adlington (Taryn), Opa, Brynn, Kira, Nora, Talan, Max, Quinn and Nate; his sibling Gerrit Groeneveld (Nellie); and his siblings-in-law, Lawrence Depoorter, George Depaepe (Darlene) and Dorothy Harris.
