We are sad to announce that on June 7, 2020, at the age of 81, Peter Buckley of Tillsonburg, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Buckley and Winifred Buckley; his siblings, Joe Buckley and Joan Legge; and his niece Mary Jo Morrissey.

He is survived by: his children, Maureen McLaughlin (Ed), Linda McNairn, Peter Michael Buckley (MaryTheresa), Paula Abbott (Paul) and David Matthew Buckley (Christine); his grandchildren, Paul McLaughlin (Mandy), Jennifer Barr, Ryan McNairn (Sarah), Cameron McNairn (Laura), David, Erin, Daniel Buckley, Jason Abbott (Monica), Danielle Littlewood (Matt), Joshua and Matthew Buckley; his great grandchildren, Tom, Evelyn McLaughlin, Charlotte, Penelope, Arthur, Harlow Barr, Lucy, Owen McNairn, Ava, Lincoln Abbott and Amy Littlewood; his siblings, Joey and Joanie; his brother-in-law Paul Legge; his cousin Kathy Jarvis; the mother of his children Mary Buckley; and his friends, Toronto and Windsor. He is also survived by Uncle.

Instead of flowers, the family has requested a donation in Peter's name to St. Vincent de Paul or a charity of your choice and can be made through Ostrander's Funeral Home in Tillsonburg who have been entrusted with Peter's arrangements.

“I learned of peters death this morning. Peter & his family, particularly his mother, were very important to me. His mother showed great kindness to me. I practically lived at their house peter & i were friends & his sister was a gem.joe was a brilliant character. What a family! We spent summers at lake simcoe & also a little time outside gravenhurst. Somewhere along the line we lost contact. Probably my fault. May he rest in peace with that wonderful family. Mike quigley”
