We are sad to announce that on September 17, 2025, at the age of 81, Rene Roger Vanderhaeghe Sr. (Tillsonburg, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his close friend Dorothy Van Hooren of Langton; his child Kim King (Andre) of Courtland; his grandchildren, Jayden (Grace) and Josh; his daughter Carrie Connors (John) of Tillsonburg; his grandchildren, Sarah and Samuel; his child Rene'Nache'Vanderhaeghe Jr. (Karam) of Mississauga; his sister Monica Van Tyghem of Delhi; and his siblings-in-law, Arlene Vanderhaeghe (late Gilbert) of Langton and Jim Hooft (late Patricia). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes- Burial And (40 Queen St, Langton, ON N0E1G0). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Parish (24 Albert St, Langton, ON N0E1G0). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Sacred Heart R. C. Cemetery (24 Albert St, Langton, ON N0E1G0).
