She was predeceased by: her brothers, Alfred and Cecil Hess. She is survived by: her husband Otto; her children, Thoma Darley (late Richard) of Tillsonburg, Walter LaFrance (Donna) of Brantford, Delyn LaFrance (Rita) of Ingersoll, Julia Miller (David) of Hagersville and Roger Kleebaum (Maureen) of Tillsonburg; and her siblings, Stanley Hess (Eileen) of Sarnia and Alice Showers (Leslie) of Bradford. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
