He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Vine and Eva Vine (Thompson); his former wives, Betty Vine (Neil) and Muriel "Helen" Vine (Wittet); and his siblings, William "Bill" Vine (Helen), Joyce Hemmant (John) and Nancy Ferguson (John).

He is survived by: his children, Stephen (Debbie) of Burlington and Chris (June) of London; his stepchild Alan Wittet (Sylvia) of Tillsonburg; and his grandchildren, Becky, Ryan, Jesse, Scott and Ben. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
