He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Bud" Oatman and Elva Kathleen "Katie" Oatman; and his stepfather William "Bill" Oatman. He is survived by: his siblings, Richard Oatman, Randy Oatman (Brenda), Ronnie Oatman and Tammy Harrison (Shannon); his aunts, Mildred Pourchez and Marlene Martin (David); and his uncle Murray Church.
