She was predeceased by: her spouse Edward "Ed" Rouse; her parents, Earl Brown and Viola Brown (Foster); her son Mark Rouse; her son-in-law Fred Chivers; and her siblings, Thelma Morgan and Howard Brown.

She is survived by: her children, Lana Chivers of London, Jeff Rouse (Anna) of Sudbury, Kevan Rouse (Phyllis) of Port Burwell, Darwin Rouse (Janet) of Port Rowan and Annette Heard (Greg) of Delhi; her grandchildren, Laura Chivers, Lisa Panasiuk (Ed), Ashley Rouse, Jocelyne Hyland, Amanda Wiltshire (Bryan), Marc Rouse (Alicia), Erin Rouse and Zach Heard; and her great grandchildren, Darek Roberts, Alexander Panasiuk and Nathan Roberts. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
