Sophia Van Den Neucker Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sophia Van Den Neucker (Tillsonburg, Ontario), who passed away on June 1, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Sophia may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerardus Romel and Martha Romel; her husband John Van Den Neucker; and her daughters, Maryanne Balazs and Kathy Van Den Neucker.

She is survived by: her children, Garry V., Diana Fleming (Clyde Frampton), Larry V. (Heather), Martha (Don Swick), Joe V. (Mary) and Cindy Duyvejonck. She is also survived by grandmother to her 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
