He was predeceased by: his son Steve; his parents, Elizabeth Drotos and John Drotos; his brothers, John (Betty) and Joe; his brother-in-law Louie Fulop; his nephew Joey Drotos; and his cousin Steve Orel.

He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Liz"; his son John (Sue); his sister Helen Fulop; his sister-in-law Margaret Drotos; and his cousin Helen Orel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
