She was predeceased by: her father Eugene Townsend. She is survived by: her husband Gary Matschke; her children, Brandon Vyse, Kara Lynds (Justin) and Mark Matschke (Melissa); her close friend Barbara Moosberger; her mother Shirley Phillips (Ron); her siblings, John Townsend, Linda Herbert, Cheryl Ward (Ed), Leslie Martin (Greg) and Steve Townsend (Betty); and her pet Missy. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins many friends.

Memorial donations in Susan's memory may be made to the Cancer Society or charity of choice and would be appreciated by Susan's family.
