She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlos Coates and Martha Forbes; her husband Alan Wilfred Turnbull; and her brothers, Howard Coates, Edgar Coates (late Thelma) and Russell Coates.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Turnbull (Lisa) of North Port, Janie Smith of Guelph, Elaine Turnbull of Toronto and Gwendolyn (Ronald Deelstra) of Aylmer; her grandchildren, Nicholas (Sabrina), Tyler (Marjorie), Andrew Smith, Alexander, Lydia Deelstra, Alissa and Samantha Urich; her great grandchildren, Shane Baliog, Kennedy and Paityn Smith; and her sisters, Lila Girouard (late Raymond) of Ottawa, Inez Dutton (late Roy) of Quebec and Agnes Lister (late Norman).
