He was predeceased by: his wife Cathy McAuley; and his sisters, Hilda and Molly. He is survived by: his sister Joan Sheasby; his sibling's children, David Sheasby (Reta), Micheal Sheasby (Kate), Andrew McAuley (Nancie), Bryan McAuley and Rosemary Fitzgerald (Mark); and his close friend Christine Grim. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes- Burial And (262 Broadway, Tillsonburg, ON N4G3R7). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 5:30 PM, on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM. A reception was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 153 (16 Durham St, Tillsonburg, ON N4G1V7).
