He was predeceased by: his parents, Tibor and Emma; and his siblings, Mary Markus (late George) and Stephen Nagy. He is survived by: his daughter April Kimmett (Warren); his grandchildren, Abbey, Naomi, Emma and Toby; his sister Barbara Trtany (Turk); and his siblings-in-law, Wayne McGilvray and Teresa Nagy. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
