He was predeceased by: his wife Rosemary Vanner (O'Brien); his parents, Frank Vanner and Louisa Vanner (Bailey); and his siblings, Ethel, Mary, Carl, Percy and Arnold.
He is survived by: his children, Catherine Vanner (Lee) of Aylmer, Denise Vanner (Paul) of Scarborough, Michael Vanner (Rayna) of Toronto and Maureen Shilliday (Mike) of Eden; his close friend Joan Kelly of Tillsonburg; his grandchildren, Veronica, James, Jeremy and Michael; and his great grandchildren, Kieran, Ronan, Leila, Victoria, Brynnlee and Brycen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
