He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Rohrer (Cain); his son Billy; his grandsons, Richard Hoshal and Carey Hoshal; his brother Harvey Rohrer; and his parents, Alvin Rohrer and Grace Rohrer (Froggett).
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Hoshal of Tillsonburg and Bob Cain (Lynda) of Straffordville; and his grandchildren, Randy Cain (Carol), Jim Hoshal (Wanda), Robert Cain (Melissa), Melissa Cronheimer-Cain (Jason) and Jessica Cain. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren.
