She was predeceased by : her husband Léo Paul Champagne; her parents, Émile Gagnon and Alice Allarie; and her siblings, Armand, Aurore (late Nelson), Lucienne (late Gabrien) and Laurent (late Georgette).

She is survived by : her sisters, Rosa Lahaie (late Léo) and Huguette Saley (late Alfred). She is also survived by many in-laws, nephews, nieces and friends.

“Wow...so many wonderful memories of Anita during my growing up years As youngsters, a smiling Anita greeted us when my siblings and I arrived at Bustard Bros garage after school. In my teens, she taught me how to write receipts, tally massive ledger columns, and improve my accuracy. After I moved South, married and had children, I would bring them into the office to see Anita when we visited Matheson. And she let each of them know that they were special!
