She was predeceased by: her husband Leo Fontana; her parents, Antonio Borsi and Amalia Borsi; and her siblings, Maria Ottoni, Cesara Boi, Pino and Nino Borsi.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Fontana (Brenda) of London, ON, John Fontana (Sofia Garcia) of Mexico and Lia Fontana (Graham McMillan) of Timmins; and her grandchildren, Zoie, Gabe, Bianca, Brock, Anthony, Raegan, Sloan, Parker, Miller, Teddie, Lucie and Rosie.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home (150 Balsam St S, Timmins, ON P4N2E2). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Miron-Wilson Funeral Home (150 Balsam St S, Timmins, ON P4N2E2).
