She was predeceased by : her in-laws, Yvon Carriere (Roxanne) and Yves Carriere. She is survived by : her parents, Laurent Thauvette and Marie Thauvette; her husband Roger Carriere; her children, Rejean and Renee; her grandchildren, Gabriel, Anjali, Dominic and Eve; her siblings, Joanne Burnette (Marce), Claude Thauvette (April), Marcel Thauvette (Claire) and Linda Monet; and her in-laws, Yvonne Gauthier (Guy), Yvette Martin (Bill) and Diane Gibbons (Jim).

Visitation was held on Friday, May 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre (150 Balsam St S, Timmins, ON P4N2E2). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Miron-Wilson Chapel (150 Balsam St S, Timmins, ON P4N2E2).

Memorial donations may be made to the Sick Kids Foundation, a cause close to Carole's heart.
