She was predeceased by: her mother Marla Burns; her grandmother Dorothy Tress; and her mother-in-law Sharon Bell. She is survived by: her husband Julian Ottoson; her children, Simon and Isabella of Timmins; her father Stephen Burns of Owen Sound; her stepparent Carmel Leblanc of Cape Breton; her father-in-law Elmer Ottoson (Yvonne Collins) of Matheson; her siblings, Sarah Burns of Vancouver and Benjamin Burns of Owen Sound; her grandparents, David Tress of Barrie and Diana Burns of Owen Sound; her brothers-in-law, Michael Ottoson (Sylvia Sanders) of Windsor and Anthony Ottoson of Windsor; her aunts and uncles, Gail, Jeff Tress and Shari; and her siblings' children, Jesse Martinez, Justin and Jasmine Sanders. She is also survived by her cousins and friends.
