She was predeceased by: her son Rhenald Hastings; her parents, Donat Tremblay and Rose-Alda "Rose" L'Heureux; and her siblings, Irene, Jeanette, Vye, Roland, Roger, Leo, Fernand and Leonard.
She is survived by: her husband Roy Hastings; her daughters, Carole (Bruce McCoshen) and Pearl (Denis Sasseville); her grandchildren, Mandy (Joe) and Jeff; her great grandchildren, Cole, Norah and Isla; her siblings, Clauviette Babin-Gillard and Raymond Tremblay (Louise); and her friend Sylvain Dion. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Maison Funéraire Lessard Funeral and Cremation Centre Inc. (21 Elm St S, Timmins, ON P4N1W4). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 23rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Maison Funéraire Lessard Funeral Chapel (21 Elm St S, Timmins, ON P4N1W4).
