He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Jean (Florence "Flo" (Latham)); his son Kevin; his brother Basil Reid; and his siblings-in-law, Norma, Grace Larmar, Kathleen Piekarski (Zeke), Morley Latham (Marla) and Wayne Latham.

He is survived by: his wife Louise (Duchesne); his daughters, Kathy (Tom Obradovich) and Kari (Paul Richer); his daughter-in-law Carol Reid; his grandchildren, Alex Obradovich (Danielle), Mac Reid (Kierstyn), Avery Foy (Matt), Taylor Richer (Steve Bergounhon), Reid Obradovich (Lauren) and Jack Reid (Abbey); his great grandchildren, Blake, Aiden, Aspen and Valley; his siblings, Gordon Reid (Heidi) and Norma Pretch (Bill); and his sister-in-law Sandi Latham.
