He was predeceased by: his parents, Oswald Vankoughnett and Beatrice Vankoughnett. He is survived by: his wife Diane Vankoughnett; his children, Fred Vankoughnett (Kathie) of Kitchener, Sean Vankoughnett of Toronto, Jennifer Leblanc (Jean-François) of Timmins and Andrea Martin (Sean) of Timmins; his grandchildren, Hannah, Ethan, Alex (Dana), MacKenzie, Tori, Aaron and Jackson; his siblings, Kevin Vankoughnett (Carol) of Calgary, Judy Smith (Scott) of Victoria, BC., Sharyn VonBulow of Toronto and Blair Vankoughnett of Vancouver, BC.; and his pet Lexa. He is also survived by his 2 great grandchildren, nephews, and by his loyal coworker.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home (150 Balsam St S, Timmins, ON P4N2E2). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Miron-Wilson Funeral Home (150 Balsam St S, Timmins, ON P4N2E2).
