Germaine Simard Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Germaine Simard (Timmins, Ontario), who passed away on June 19, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her grandchildren, Daniel Sabourin (Aurelie) and Lyanne Grenier (Ray); her parents, Joseph Duchesne and Hélène Dion; her husband Eugene; her children, Élise Fournier and Annette Phillips; and her siblings, Aimé, Marie-Jeanne, Laurent, Conrad, Annette, Rita, Real and Cecile.

She is survived by : her daughters, Aline Sabourin (late Denis), Paulette Perry (Bert) and Jeannine Guillemette (JC); her grandchildren, Denis Sabourin (Helene), Yvon Sabourin, Julie Miller (Micheal), Craig Perry (Talli), Dean Perry (Becky), Rejean Guillemette (Amanda Maxwell), Kim Haapakoski (Paul), Rachelle Fournier (Martin) and Mark Phillips (Laura); her great grandchildren, Kevin, Josee, Cassidy, Cameron Sabourin, Draven Romanowski, Tiffany, Kyle Sabourin, Skylee Lacroix, Keenan, Zion, Aleah Miller, Ellen Mae, Hailey, Kyla Perry, Christopher, Bradley Grenier, Jesse Mongrain, Zachary Guillemette, Devin, Amy Haapakoski, Ricky and Curtis Lefebvre; her great great grandchildren, Hunter, Liam, Oliver and Tanner; and her sons-in-law, Richard Fournier and John Phillips.

Due to the current pandemic, a private family service will be held on Thursday June 24, 2021 at 11 a. m. which will be livestreamed on the funeral home Facebook page.
