He was predeceased by: his former wife Claire; his parents, Beatrice Desgagnes and Jean-Louis Desgagnes; and his brothers, Jean-Guy Desgagnes (Jacqueline) and Claude Desgagnes (Pat).
He is survived by: his wife Lise; his children, Lizanne Desgagnes (Ray), Liza Poulin (J. C.), Luc Desgagnes (Renée) and Ginette Desgagnes (Ray Thiffeault); his grandsons, Jacob Desgagnes, Simon Drouin (Morgan), Justin Drouin, Alex and Mason Desgagnes; his great grandchild Shea Drouin; his grand-fur-babies, Gizmo, Yoda, Zoe, Tundra, Hazel, Daxton and Bella; and his siblings, Claudette Beaulieu (late Euclide), Maurice Desgagnes (Audrey) and Robert Desgagnes (Noella). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Maison Funéraire Lessard Funeral and Cremation Centre Inc. (21 Elm St S, Timmins, ON P4N1W4). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Maison Funéraire Lessard Funeral Chapel (21 Elm St S, Timmins, ON P4N1W4).
