Ian leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Ian’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Ian will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his father Arne Sorensen; and his grandparents, Oda Sorensen, Gloria Watson and Carl Sorensen. He is survived by: his wife Carolle; his son Maxime; his mother Sandra-Lee McIntyre; and his sister Lisa Sorensen-Bryce (Shawn). He is also survived by nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, extended family, and many friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at LESSARD Funeral Home and Cremation Centre Inc. Remembrance donations to the Timmins and District-Oncology Department would be greatly appreciated.
