He was predeceased by: his parents, Hal Lapraik and Vera Lapraik; and his in-laws, Alex and Velma Getty. He is survived by: his significant other Carroll Lapraik; his daughters, Norine (Erik Klein) and Jill Lapraik (Randy Zimmer); his grandson Bradley Miettinen; his sister Gail (David Buss, family: Holli, Christopher); his brother-in-law Brian Getty (Gina, family: Alexander, Vanessa, Blair, Rebecca, Mark); and his great-niece Blair.
