He was predeceased by: his wife Georgette Rainville; his parents, Leo Rainville and Marie-Anne Rainville; his daughter Carole Rainville; and his siblings, Lionel, Aline, Gerald and Jeannine.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Rainville (Sherry), Lise Scalabrini, Claude Rainville (Anna), Ron Rainville (Heather) and Lynn Bates (late Steven); and his grandchildren, Shannon, Chantal, Michael, Melanie, Melissa, Laura, Holly, Jennifer, Katie, Cynthia and Amanda. He is also survived by his many great-grandchildren and his numerous nieces and nephews.
