She is survived by: her husband Giuseppe Merenda; her children, Rosetta Fournier (Gilles), Tony Merenda (Joanne), Julie Chiera (Frank), Romeo Merenda (Angie) and Paolo Merenda (Shannon); her grandchildren, Astrid, Sophia Fournier, Brittny (Codey), Nadia Merenda, Joey (Michelle), Grady Merenda, Jonathan (Emma) and Marissa Chiera; her great grandchildren, Maximus, Oliver and Jaxson; and her brothers, Michele (Nilde), Luciano (Rosetta) and Aldo (Gina). She is also survived by her siblings and siblings-in-law.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home (150 Balsam St S, Timmins, ON P4N2E2). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (296 Cedar St S, Timmins, ON P4N2E2). A reception was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Porcupine Dante Club (162 Cedar St S, Timmins, ON P4N2G8).
