He was predeceased by: his wife Lilianne Roy-Girard; his parents, Oscar Girard and Angeline Girard; and his sisters, Nicole and Jacqueline Girard.
He is survived by: his children, Rodney Girard (Sheila) and Angie Girard (Steve); his stepchildren, Nancy Kidd (Kevin) and Chantale Laporte; his grandchildren, Vanessa, Braydon, Kyle, Brandon, Mackenzie and Maxime; and his siblings, Robert Girard (Judy), Anita Sizer (late Jim) and Jacques Girard (Sylvie). He is also survived by his many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
