He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeanne Fournier and George Henrie Fournier; his parents-in-law, Eugene and Germaine Simard; and his sister-in-law Annette Phillips.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kim Haapakoski (Paul) and Rachelle Lefebvre (Martin); his grandchildren, Devin Haapakoski (Lianne), Amy Haapakoski, Curtis Lefebvre (Isabelle) and Ricky Lefebvre (Laura Talon); his great grandchildren, Hunter, Liam Perry and Oliver Haapakoski; his siblings, Helene Vieno (Daniel) and Gilles Fournier (Louise); and his siblings-in-law, Aline Sabourin (late Denis), Jeannine Guillemette (Jean-Come), Paulette Perry (Bert) and John Phillips. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Maison Funéraire Lessard Funeral and Cremation Centre Inc. (21 Elm St S, Timmins, ON P4N1W4). A reception was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Lessard Reception Centre (34 Elm St S, Timmins, ON P4N1W3).
