He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald Plant and Elizabeth Plant. He is survived by: his children, Gregory of Matheson, Karen (Randy) of Matheson, Stuart (Diane) of Matheson and Elizabeth of Timmins; his grandchildren, Austin, Justine Pattison, Naomi, Deborah, Candace Desforges and Courtney Plant; and his sister Isobel Muzzin (Jim).
