He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Charette and Lorraine Charette; and his brother-in-law Greg Hart. He is survived by: his wife Melanie Charette; his children, Patricia Charette and Leo Ronald Charette (Alexa Gagnon); his siblings, Nicole Chartrand (George), Luc Legault (Nancy), Jacques Legault, Adrienne Legault-Hart (Luc Sergerie), Jean-Paul Legault (Josée) and Caroline McGreevy (Kirk); his parents-in-law, Gerald Leclerc and Pauline Leclerc; and his siblings-in-law, Sandra Leclerc (Remi Goulet) and Pascal Leclerc (Manon Laflèche). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Maison Funéraire Lessard Funeral and Cremation Centre Inc. (21 Elm St S, Timmins, ON P4N1W4). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Maison Funéraire Lessard Funeral Chapel (21 Elm St S, Timmins, ON P4N1W4). A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery (901 Pine St S, Timmins, ON P4N7C2).
