She is survived by: her children, Bill Merritt of Timmins, ON, Brenda Merritt of Ottawa, ON and Diane Athanasiou (Michael Ebos) of Carlisle, ON.; her grandchildren, Austen (Paige), Braden and Justen Athanasiou; Andreas Athanasiou (Sonja Klemme). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
