He was predeceased by: his daughter Kim Smith (Jim); his parents, Diana Cochrane and John Cochrane; and his siblings, Alan Cochrane, Florence Plouffe and Anna Oliver.
He is survived by: his wife Elma; his children, Kelly Jakubiak (Rick), Kerry Canie (Danny) and Kyle Cochrane; his grandchildren, Kerah (Dave), Tyler (Jess), Daly (Britany) and McKay; and his great grandchildren, Jenna, Millie, Ellie and Jack. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Maison Funéraire Lessard Funeral and Cremation Centre Inc. (21 Elm St S, Timmins, ON P4N1W4). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St Anthony of Padua Cathedral (73 Spruce St N, Timmins, ON P4N6M9).
In lieu of flowers, remembrance donations to. Special Olympics Timmins and the Heart and Stroke Foundation (credit card payment only) would be greatly appreciated.
