She was predeceased by: her husband John L. Smith; her son Gary Smith; her grandson Sean Smith; her siblings, John L. MacKinnon (Alma), Clara Gilchrist (Jim) and Bruce MacKinnon (Donelda); her parents, Lachlan MacKinnon and Lucinda MacKinnon; her sisters-in-law, Eunice Farrell (Murray), Jean Dent (Alan) and Christena Scott (Bob); and her parents-in-law, Hugh and Millie Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dianne Sanderson (Jim) and Carolyn Hamilton (Don Roppel); her daughter-in-law Sandra Smith; her grandchildren, Kerry, Jeff (Sarah), Julie (Trevor), Campbell (Alice), Robert (Kate) and Meghan; and her great grandchildren, Kailynn, Bryson, Nicole, Branden, Brock, Quinn and Luke.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Davey-Linklater Chapel (757 Princes St, Kincardine, ON N2Z1Z5). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Knox Presbyterian Church - Tiverton (75 Main St, Tiverton, ON N0G2T0).
