He was predeceased by : his spouse Joan Taylor; his grandson Matt Taylor; his parents, Edward Taylor and Mary Taylor; his siblings, Donald Taylor and Betty Mitchell (Ian); and his brother-in-law Bill David.

He is survived by : his children, Carolyn Smith of Tiverton, Richard Taylor (Terry) of Kincardine, David Taylor of Kincardine and Mark Taylor (Lynette) of Clearwater, BC.; his sister Jessie David of Sarnia; and his sister-in-law Barb Taylor of Almonte. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Memorial donations to the Kincardine Hospital Foundation or Knox Presbyterian Church, Tiverton would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
