He was predeceased by: his wife Beth MacPhatter; and his parents, Edith MacPhatter and Gordon MacPhatter. He is survived by: his children, Jo Anne Lane (Rick) of Tobermory and Jeff (Linda) of French River; his grandchildren, John, Emily, Evan, Lisa, Desmond and Graydon; his great grandchildren, Lucas, Frankie, Rose, Ross and Audrey; his brother Bob MacPhatter (Doreen) of Owen Sound; and his sister-in-law Amelia Dunham of Tobermory.
