He was predeceased by: his parents, Velma Dean and Orlon Dean; his parents-in-law, Leila (Belrose) and Hughie Rouse; his siblings, Alvin and Marilyn Rydall; and his siblings-in-law, Moe Clarke, Hugh McCormick, James Rouse, Bruce Rouse and Darlene Belrose (Lloyd).
He is survived by: his close friend Betty; his children, John (Michelle) of Oakville and Jennifer Cuffe (Jason) of Tobermory; his grandchildren, Abigail, Michael Dean and Johnny Cuffe; his godchild Kiera Squire (Adam Smith); his siblings, Shirley Clark of Tobermory, Dennis (Jane) of Durham and Ian (Robyn) of Dyers Bay; his siblings-in-law, Al Rydall, Marion Dean, Melvin Rouse (Ruth) of Orangeville, Fern Baker (Ray) of Arthur, Helen McCormick of Owen Sound, Ida Munn (Gene), Dennis Rouse (Norma) and Dale Rouse; his nephew Travis Belrose of Tobermory; and his close friends, Jennifer, Jason and Michael Squire (Michelle).
