He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Kay and Neta Kay; his stepson Chris Doyle; and his brother Fraser Kay (Dawn). He is survived by: his spouse Valery; his children, Tanya Haynes (Ty) and Jason Kay (Samantha); his stepchildren, Shawn Doyle (Tracy) and Shannon Doyle (Scott); his grandchildren, Cole, Carter Haynes, Steven, Brayden Doyle, Kaytlin, Jarred, Riley, Jackson and Kristen "Amy" Philips; his great grandchildren, Noah, Kayson and Kane; and his siblings, Marney Quesnel (Gerald) and Kingsley Kay (Doreen).
