She was predeceased by : her husband Ernest Gerald Lawson (Joe); her siblings, Helen Blair (Jack), Muriel Wheatley (John), Irene MacMillan (Leonard), Marjorie Saunders (Reg), Miss Elizabeth Hamilton, Lorne (Marie), Charlie, Eric (Trudy), Gordon (Doris), Arnold (Margaret) and Kenneth Hamilton (Shirley); and her father Stewart Hamilton.

She is survived by : her children, Lyle Lawson (Cheryl), Dale Howard (Doug), Brian Lawson and Gail Henry (Jamie); her grandchildren, Jonathan Lawson (Julie), Jason Lawson, Christopher Lawson (Ashlea), Sarah Durant (Chris), Colin Howard, Dillon Henry and Houston Henry; her great grandchildren, Carolyn, Elizabeth Lawson, Lucy and Alice Durant; and her siblings, Edna Baker (Grant), Garnet Hamilton (Evelyn) and Wilbert Hamilton (Barbara). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 29th 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Judson Funeral Home (3 Elgin St S, Athens, ON K0E1B0). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 30th 2023 at 2:00 PM.

For those wishing to make a donation, Kitley Fire Department, Smiths Falls Hospital, St. Andrew United Church or Maple View Lodge, will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
