With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Adeline Ellen Swabey (Toronto, Ontario), born in Montréal, Québec, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 23, 2025 at the age of 103. She was predeceased by: her husband Alan Swabey; her parents, David Turk and Charlotte Mc Turk; and her siblings, Claire, John, Leslie, Gordon and Jean Mc Turk.

She is survived by: her aunts, Adeline and Judy (Swabey); her grandchildren, John Swabey (Terri Swabey), James Swabey (Lyse Langevin), Edward Swabey (Janet Watts) and Patricia Swabey; her great grandchildren, Rebecca Swabey, James Swabey (Leanne Sanders), Tyler Swabey (Natasha Swabey), Dominique Carrier (Mathieu Carrier), Carolyn Swabey (Greg Lake), Hannah Swabey, Chloe Swabey (Ben Nuez), Luke Swabey and Alex Watts; her great great grandchildren, Charlotte and Chloe Isla Carrier; and her nieces and nephews, David Mc Turk (Susan Mc Turk), Janet Mc Turk, Bruce Mc Turk, James Mc Turk and Karen Friend (Robert Friend).
