We are sad to announce that, on March 31, 2026, at the age of 87, Aglaia Balamatsis (Toronto, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Aglaia is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Aglaia's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Yianni; her children, Pano Balamatsis and Bill Balamatsis (Niki); and her grandchildren, Yianni, George, Jessica and Joanna.
