He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Thomas Stiff and Marjorie Leone; and his siblings, Alymer, Grace, Garnet, Raymond and Ross.

He is survived by: his wife Janice Stiff; his children, Scott (Magdalen), Amanda (Gary) and Tracey (Saul); his grandchildren, JT, Victoria, Sebastian, Miguel and Alex; and his siblings, Gladys, Ellen and Kenneth. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ontario Humane Society or a charity of your choice in Alvin's memory would be appreciated by the family.
