Though Amelia may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parent Amedeo Picchetti. She is survived by: her mother Lidia Picchetti; her husband Mario Capoccia; her daughters, Lory Capoccia and Lydia Ready; her son-in-law Brendan Ready; and her grandchildren, Emily, Mason and Olivia Ready. She is also survived by her brothers, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, friends, pets.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the DeMarco Funeral Home (3725 Keele St, North York, ON M3J1N4). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 25th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
